instapaperLooking for a neat way to take notes and read bits and pieces on that brand new iPad you’ve already busted your credit limit to buy?

Seeking out an efficient and easy-to-use partner to guard all your favourite data as you prep for the next assignment, report or special mission?

We’d like to introduce you to Instapaper, which we promise will emerge as the ultimate App for just that.

On the surface this is a simple bookmarking application which is already available for the iPhone and the Kindle.

The software takes any piece of content from the Web and strips it down to its base essentials. So, for example, if you find a long piece of content on the Web and file it into Instapaper you’ll be able to read it in a stripped-down format later on, without all the complexity of a Web page.

Developer Marco Arment has introduced a preview of an iPad version of the app. Doing so he confirmed developers will be able to produce both iPad and iPhone versions of Apps, both of which can be bundled together for sale.

“Instapaper Pro will be a universal iPhone/iPad application. That means that you only have to buy Instapaper Pro once to have it on both devices, and the iPad edition will be available to all Pro purchasers at no additional charge when it’s released,” the developer says.
