Huawei has quite a few new smartphones in the works for the following weeks and months. Now, the Ascend Mate 2 has been certified for sale in China by TENAA. The Ascend Mate 2 will come in two versions, one for China Telecom (MT2-C00), and the other meant for China Unicom (MT2-U071).

Huawei, the Chinese manufacturer of smartphones that seem to be getting better and better, has just had its Ascend Mate 2 to receive certification so that it can go on sale in China. The body that regulates such certification is TENAA, which is more or less the equivalent of the FCC here in the US. It is always nice to see products go through the certification process, since we will more often than not, be treated to additional photos from various angles and perhaps more information on the upcoming specifications. The thing is, the latest round of news from the certification process point to a contradiction from hardware that was leaked last month.
