CyanogenMod on Monday began rolling out CM11 M3 to a wide range of devices, including the HTC One, Galaxy S4 and a number of Nexus and legacy handsets. “M” builds in the Cyanogen world, as noted by Android Central, are known as milestones in the development cycle; they are billed as more stable than nightlies, but could contain bugs—users are cautioned to proceed at their own risk.

Visit the CyanogenMod download page and you’ll see CM11 M3 builds are starting to roll off the servers. “M” builds are milestones along the development process as the KitKat-based CyanogenMod 11 approaches release candidate, and eventually stable status.
