During Apple’s presentation on Tuesday, the Cupertino company took the wraps off their new mobile payment services dubbed Apple Pay. They announced that they have many major retailers and restaurants who will be participating in the program, although oddly enough it seems that neither Walmart nor Best Buy were mentioned. Well it turns out that both retailers have announced that they will not be participating in the program, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal. Both retailers are said to be more interested in a different system called Merchant Customer Exchange. The reason behind this is because MCX’s service will only require users to download an app.
