OnePlus held their official event earlier in the week on Monday July 27th, and it was unclear how well the device would be received. After months and months of preparation and working to build the next great device as well as their second flagship handset, or rather second smartphone altogether, despite what was starting to sound like an exciting follow up to their first phone last year, OnePlus naturally had doubts about whether or not they would live up to their fans expectations for the new phone. Just like last year’s device, the OnePlus 2 will require users to have an invite to purchase the handset, and OnePlus just today announced that in the short time of 72 hours they have surpassed 1 million reservations to receive an invite for the ability to purchase the device.
