Would you look at that, Apple actually managed to sell a bunch of new iPhones last weekend. Sarcasm aside, it was still a bit surprising to see how many smartphones the company sold during the first weekend following the iPhone 6S launch, but only a bit. Apple set a sales record by selling more than 13 million iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus units over the weekend, which is much more than last year’s 10 million, and equals about 3,000 units sold every minute. This is just further proof that the iPhone is basically just symbolic conveyor belt between Apple and people’s wallets.
