When Apple acquired Burstly last month, the company behind popular iOS app beta platform Testflight, a lot of people questioned how it would discontinue support for Android and the wider TestFlight SDK to new users. According to a document acquired by TechCrunch, this won’t be the only aspect of Burstly’s business looking to wind down.

When we reported that Apple had acquired Burstly last month, a lot of the attention was focused on TestFlight, its popular mobile app testing platform — and specifically around how it would discontinue support for Android and the wider TestFlight SDK to new users. But it looks like this won’t be the only part of the Burstly business that will be winding down. A customer who was using the company’s SkyRocket product — the other side of its business that focuses on app monetization — has forwarded us a letter from Burstly. Dated March 11 and signed by Ryan Rifkin, one of Burstly’s co-founders, it notes that Burstly is terminating their publishing and SDK license agreement, 90 days from the date of the letter — in other words, June 9.
