While the Japanese are busy building robots that assist the elderly, and the Swedes are busy building robots that help tourists at airports, the Chinese have developed a trio of death-dealing attack robots to combat “global terror” with rifles and grenade launchers. The three robots are designed to work together, and can coordinate with each other on the battlefield. Each version serves a different purpose, and the entire set costs around $235,000, a sum that the Beijing police force has already paid for three of them.
