One of the last bastions of safety online has been hacked. Apple, known for years to be secure, particularly with its mobile browser and apps, has fallen to a group of Chinese hackers who have placed malware on your iPhones and iPads. They were able to infiltrate through applications that are downloaded. Currently, the standard operating system is still safe but what you put on your mobile device may not be.

The security breach is the first of its kind for the Apple iOS mobile operating system, although iCloud has been under attack before, the iOS system has never been affected until now. Apple has taken steps to remove the problem and removed the apps from its App Store.
