Of all the Chinese electronics companies that are trying to expand their brand outside of China and the immediately surrounding countries, Huawei has definitely made the most progress. The company has already released some very impressive smartphones that are on the same level as flagship devices such as the Galaxy S5 and the HTC One (M8) but now Huawei appears ready to take things a step further by getting into the rapidly growing smartwatch market as well.

Huawei is slowly establishing itself as a reputed smartphone and tablet maker. We have seen some great phones from this Chinese company like the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 and event the Honor 6 Plus. Now, it looks like the company is all set to take things to the next level. Huawei just released two teaser images with the title “NEXT IS HERE”. Now, we can take a guess of what the company means by NEXT in this image. Huawei had recently confirmed that the company was planning to release a Huawei smartwatch this year. We expected it to be sometime later in 2015, however looks like we may be able to see the device as early as MWC 2015. In the teaser image, you can see a crescent shape with a star at the end. While the image fails to explain what it means, we think it could be hinting at a curved Huawei smartwatch. We have already seen Samsung’s Gear S watch with a curved screen and Huawei’s smartwatch too could feature something like that. The next here could mean the next version of its Huawei smartband released last year, and what better upgrade than a new smartwatch!
