Several smartphones have been announced or released that offer things like full HD display, curved screens, or flexible screens but the YotaPhone is the only one that offers dual screens. The smartphone’s second e-ink screen shows notifications and recent information and it’s always on,  even if the phone’s battery is empty.

It’s been nearly a year since we last heard about the YotaPhone, a device with a front LCD and a rear e-ink screen. But after months of development silence, the company’s CEO, Vlad Martynov, announced on Wednesday that the device will be available in early December. A special launch party is scheduled to take place in Moscow on Dec. 4.
