Encrypted messaging app Telegram has exceeded 100 million users

Telegram has announced that it now boasts more than 100 million monthly active users, just two and a half years after the service launched. What’s more, the company is adding an impressive 350,000 users to that total every single day. Telegram has become immensely popular for its streamlined instant messaging experience that is now available on all major platforms — including desktops. It boasts all the features you would expect to see in a messaging service, and it is frequently updated with improvements and fixes. It also boasts cloud sync, so if you use multiple devices, you can access your conversations and chat history across all of them. Not only does it now have more than 100 million monthly users, but it is also delivering an incredible 15 billion messages every day. Those are pretty incredible numbers for a service that’s less than three years old.
