One of the biggest hurdles modern tech companies that offer large ecosystems of video content face is finding a way to deliver that content to international markets. Netflix, for example, might have a licensing agreement to stream your favorite TV shows here in the U.S. – but try to access the service in Spain and you’re out of luck. Google overcame one of those hurdles recently, and today announced that its Google Play Movie service is now available in 39 additional countries.

Thee Android version of the Google Play Movies and TV app was updated today with support for 40 new languages. Google has also confirmed that its Movies service is now available in 39 new markets: Angola, Aruba, Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, Gabon, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Ivory Coast, Luxembourg, Mali, Mauritius, Namibia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Niger, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Rwanda, Senegal, Sweden, Togo, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia.
