Google has introduced Google+ “Premium” communications features for customers which will create increased appeal of its Apps services for enterprise and business users. Apps customers have long been able to host Hangouts with up to 15 people, but now the sessions will be available in HD-quality — together Google believes that will “save time and money”. Premium also enables more granular privacy controls, letting Google+ users set their posts as restricted to their domain if they wish, or hide their profiles from public searches.

Apps customers have long been able to host Hangouts with up to 15 people, but now the sessions will be available in HD-quality — together Google believes that will “save time and money”. Premium also enables more granular privacy controls, letting Google+ users set their posts as restricted to their domain (thus visible to colleagues and employers only) if they wish, or hide their profiles from public searches. The new features are available to new Google Apps customers now, and rolling out to existing customers from next month.
