In order to help developers reach Android users in other languages, Google has launched its App Translation Service. The service allows Android developers to purchase professional app translations through the Google Play Developer Console. Developers who participated in the service’s pilot program have already seen major sales increases by expanding their markets to include non-English-language users.

Every day, more than 1.5 million new Android phones and tablets around the world are turned on for the first time.
