Microsoft added Music and Video to the Windows 10 Technical Preview

Microsoft has added two new app previews to the Windows 10 Technical Preview. The two apps are early versions of the company’s Music and Video services and can be downloaded by any Windows Insiders through the Store Beta so long as they have the most recent version of the Windows 10 Technical Preview.

Next in Microsoft’s lineup of Windows 10 app previews are early versions of the new Music and Video services. Windows Insiders can download the applications directly from the Store Beta in the latest build of the Windows 10 Technical Preview. “We still have a lot of work to do to get these preview apps to a place where they can replace the existing Music and Video apps on the PC,” the Windows Team wrote in a blog post. “We just couldn’t wait any longer to get them onto your PCs and get your feedback.” Take the Music Preview app for a test drive and gain access to the entire collection of MP3s saved to your device, OneDrive, or the Xbox Music Pass. Shuffle, filter, and sort through songs, and listen to a radio station based on favorite artists. Users can also make playlists by dragging and dropping songs from across platforms, and access Microsoft’s full Xbox Music Pass catalogue; also stream or download tunes for offline use.
