Twilight Princess is considered by many, myself included, to be the best Zelda game of all time, and though there’s plenty of people who would beg to differ, nobody can deny that its an excellent game. That’s why it’s so exciting to see hints of an HD remaster of the game popping up, although Nintendo hasn’t announced anything official. The evidence is a little on the sketchy side, but that’s not stopping me from getting hyped.

As many of you are aware, data miners recently found interesting information present on the eShop that seems to suggest Nintendo is gearing up for an HD remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. While there’s not been any official confirmation so far, the evidence certainly does seem convincing and now there’s been yet another development that seems to indicate that the rumours are indeed true. At Nintendo’s recent investors strategy briefing, a slide was shown depicting several characters from Nintendo’s headlining franchises. The interesting bit was a previously unseen render shown for Link, which showed the character in a pose that almost perfectly matches a pose Link makes in some artwork for Twilight Princess. The fact that it appears to be an updated version of the pose – in addition to the news that Nintendo has unannounced titles ready for release before the end of the year – makes for a very interesting coincidence. What do you think? Are the rumours true? If so, do you think it’ll launch before the year is out? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
