In recent years, Nokia has come to be known as the king of Windows Phones, but now that the company has sold its handset business to Microsoft, it’s starting to delve into the world of Android. First announced a couple of months ago, the company’s N1 Android-powered tablet has gone up for pre-order in China.

After an official unveil in November 2014, the Nokia N1 is now up for pre-order in China. The tablet is listed for 1599 Yuan ($256), and will be available in the country from January 29. Features a unibody aluminium design and Nokia’s Z Launcher atop Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Nokia N1 certainly stands out from other Android slates in this category. The hardware on offer is also very enticing for the price, as the N1 comes with a 7.9-inch IPS LED display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536, 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 8 MP camera at the back, 5 MP front shooter, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/n/ac with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB with Type-C connector (an industry first) and a 5,300 mAh battery.
