NVIDIA has revealed its largest GeForce NOW update with the addition of the new Blackwell architecture to the cloud. The development is one of the most significant milestones in cloud gaming, since players can now access GeForce RTX 5080-class graphics on the cloud without having to purchase a costly machine.

The new features are the introduction of functions such as the DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, which enables streaming at 5K and 120 frames per second with GeForce, now able to deliver better visuals and performance.

More similar to those provided by high-end gaming PCs, among the best aspects of this upgrade is the new feature on Cinematic Quality Streaming mode. It enhances color precision clarity and sharpness and displays the tiniest details understandably. This translates to smoother streaming, vivid colors and no blurring of images when action scenes are being run fast.

It is also fully adjusted to all the displays with laptops and monitors to LG TVs that can now handle 4K in 120Hz. Viewing modes are also being enhanced with the Steam Deck going all the way up to 90 fps.

The update also adds Install-to-Play, whereby the library of games available in GeForce now has been augmented to include 4,500 titles. This will enable players to get access to more of their PC collection on the cloud. Certain highly-anticipated new games such as Borderlands 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

The Outer Worlds 2 will also be in an enlarged library. Installing to Play allows games to be played regularly after downloading onto cloud-based storage, so there is no need to download them again in order to start playing games. NVIDIA also introduced Responsiveness via Reflex that promises up to 360 fps to 1080p and text-to-cursor response times of 30 milliseconds together with the worldwide network of NVIDIA.

The latency will be below 30 milliseconds with the majority of players experiencing it and as a result cloud gaming will feel shorter in distance than local-PC gameplay. It has also joined discord and epic to make the discovery of games more social. Users will have an opportunity to play such games as fortnite directly in discord without any installations.

Such experience is joined together to provide a more straightforward approach to connect with friends and play instantly. The overall idea of the Blackwell update makes the GeForce NOW one of the most sophisticated cloud gaming services. It is said that NVIDIA will have improved graphics, decreased response time and an exponentially larger library of games making premium gaming a possibility on nearly any device and without an increase in costs.
