ASUS impressed us at CES 2015 with the ZenFone 2, which boasted a 5.5-inch 1080p display and some beefy specs, but the company also has a lower-end variant of the upcoming smartphone that it didn’t announce at the trade show. This more affordable device will come in at $200 and will obviously boast some lower specs than its bigger brother, including a 5-inch 720p display.
Specs for the $200 ASUS ZenFone 2 have been leaked
Asus Zenfone 2 was surely a best device at CES 2015 with its massive internals and beautifully rendered outer shell. We have so much impressed with Zenfone 2 and Asus also announced that the low -end model will retail for just $199, which will offer HD display, lower processor and RAM than high end model, which offer 4GB RAM and also the Qualcomm and MediaTek powered Zenfone 2 variants are on the way. Now, this is the time to see another variant of Zenfone 2 but with much pocketable display size at just compact 5″ inches. Asus Zenfone 2 with 5-inch display leaked in some shots. At this time, the exact name of the device is unknown but we will report it later.
