Samsung shook things up a when it opted to use its own Exynos 7420 processor to power the Galaxy S6 instead of the Snapdragon 810 that powers most of this year’s flagships, but a report out of South Korea claims that the company will be returning to Qualcomm’s chipset with the Galaxy S7. According to Electronic Times, Samsung will still use an Exynos processor to power most versions of the Galaxy S7, but the American and Chinese versions of the smartphone will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 820.
