Many of us have random, useless crap on our keychains like souvenirs from vacations, pictures of our kids, and other random things. But the new GOkey campaign on Indiegogo is anything but useless – the ultimate keychain features a myriad of useful devices like a phone charger, synching cable, flash drive, key, phone locator, and a phone remote. When you phone is losing juice, the device can provide a quick pick me up that’s good for up to two hours. Then when you get somewhere you can really charge your phone, you can use its built-in USB charging cable. Then when you plug it in to charge in your computer, the device will function as a flash drive! You can select between 8GB, 16GB and 32GB models.

It’s rare to find a truly useful smartphone accessory but this cool new keychain accessory just might fit the bill. GOkey, a new accessory that’s become a smash hit on Indiegogo, serves as a portable smartphone charger, a USB thumb drive and a GPS tracker for your smartphone all in one. When fully charged, you can plug the GOkey into your smartphone to charge it for an additional two hours. It also acts as a storage drive that you can use to offload data on your smartphone and it can also sync data between your smartphone and PC. Finally, now that it’s reached its stretch goal of $500,000, GOkey will have the ability to track the GPS location of your smartphone or keys. GOkey has already blown past its original goal of $40,000 and has now raised more than $750,000 with two weeks of fundraising still to go. GOkey will come in three different storage options of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB and is currently slated to ship in January 2015.
