Apple is expected to take the wraps of the next iPhone(s) on September 9th, and now there’s a rumor that the company will be opening up pre-orders for the iPhone 6s on September 11th and will be releasing it a week later. Unfortunately, there’s not much in the way of new information regarding the smartphone and its specs aside from this news, so I guess we’ll have to wait a few weeks to learn more.

Apple’s launch plans for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus seem as though they aren’t much of a mystery. Rumor has it Cupertino will reveal the new smartphones on September 9 and release them two Fridays later on September 18. Now we may be learning when pre-orders will kick off as well. A leaked screenshot out of France, via Mac4Ever, suggests the new iPhones could be available for pre-order starting on September 11. France is typically part of the first group of countries to get each new Apple product. That list also includes the U.S., U.K., Germany, Australia, Canada, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. A torrent of leaks and rumors have already revealed pretty much everything there is to know about the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Apple is expected to pack the new phones with extra RAM, a better camera, Force Touch displays and a new A9 processor. The devices may also feature a 7000 series aluminum design that could be more than twice as tough as the current iPhone lineup.
