Well, according to Superdata, which specializes in analyzing the gaming industry, there will be somewhere around 70 million virtual reality headsets out there by the end of 2017. This will supposedly result in $8.8 billion in hardware sales and $6.1 billion in software sales, which means that virtual reality market could be worth around $15 billion before it even starts to get big.
