The formula for a game like The Legend of Zelda is not something you mess with. It’s a timeless classic that has proven so successful that releasing an HD remake of one of the Zelda titles was the biggest sales bump the Wii U had seen since launch day. Fortunately even within that unique formula there are elements that Eiji Aonuma and crew felt could be evolved, leading to a familiar gameplay experience with the right amount of tweaks to make things feel new.
