Pinterest users may want to be careful with what they click on and should change their passwords immediately. Following last March’s “butt pics hacking incident” users are reporting seeing several spam messages on Twitter originating from the popular visual discovery tool. The Twitter messages refer to Pinterest posts about weight loss and are said to be compromised links that can usurp user accounts. Pinterest representatives hve stated, “We were alerted to some instances of spam and responded by immediately placing impacted accounts in safe mode, and reaching out to Pinners as we solved the issue.”
