A significant portion of the Internet is dedicated to the creation and sharing of memes and one of the most popular resources for that is Imgur. As part of its recent effort to better organize the countless images it hosts, Imgur has announced a new “topics” feature that make it easier to find certain types of images on the website which means that discovering new memes is now easier than ever.

Imgur is pretty well known as a great online resource for hosting pictures and animated GIFs. The site even provides a little tool to convert video files to GIF images. Imgur has been trying to increase the organization of the millions of images it hosts, and it’s adding a new “topics” feature that will give you an easier way to view the site based on particular kinds of images you’re interested in seeing. “Topics make it easier for people to explore images and find stories that are connected to their particular interests and passions while keeping the serendipity that we love. Sometimes you’re in the mood for something funny while sometimes you just want to learn,” reads a new blog post from Imgur. To access these new topics—spoiler: there aren’t all that many right now—click on “Most Viral” on Imgur’s homepage. That’s the one directly in the sentence “The Most Viral images on the Internet, sorted by newest first.”
