In an effort to expand its same-day delivery service to cities across the country (and across the pond), e-commerce giant eBay has snapped up London-based startup Shutl.

At a New York press conference on Tuesday, eBay president Devin Wenig said the company had acquired the same-day delivery company and plans to expand its eBay Now service to 25 cities, including London, in 2014. He also said that eBay Now will open in Chicago today and then expand to Dallas.
