When it comes to hardware leaks, @evleaks is no stranger. In fact, virtually all pre-release press renders show up online through his account. So it’s no surprise to see a T-Mo Samsung device being leaked earlier today. The device in question is the Galaxy Avant, a smartphone we know very little about. Samsung is yet to announce the device, but based on the image, we’re assuming it’s a low to mid-range device. Clearly Android-powered, with a camera, LED flash and loudspeaker on the rear. Styling is very similar to current galaxy devices, but its rear shell has an unusual texture to it, similar to what you might expect from a 1980s laminated kitchen work surface, or the plastic interior of a car.

Mobile carrier T-Mobile could very well roll out a spanking new LTE smartphone that goes by the moniker Samsung Galaxy Avant. This particular device would feature the model number SM-G386, where it would most probably be T-Mobile’s version of the Samsung Galaxy Core LTE that we talked about in February earlier this year. What you see above happens to be apress render from @evleaks of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Avant, although the hardware specifications were not provided. Of course, it is worth making this speculation that the Samsung Galaxy Avant will not be too far away from the Samsung Galaxy Core LTE (and not the Galaxy Core Lite) when it comes to the hardware specifications, considering how it does feature a similar faux-leather back cover. In all probability, we should be looking at a 4.5” display alongside a resolution count of 540 x 960 pixels, a 5MP shooter at the back, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, and Android 4.4 KitKat as the operating system of choice right out of the box.
