Smartphone manufacturer Infosonics is the company behind the Verykool line of Windows Phone handsets. At MWC in Barcelona, company CEO Joseph Ram has been showing off the Phantom, an unlocked handset that supports AT&T and T-Mobile’s 4G LTE networks, and is priced to sell at $299. In making the rounds between carriers, Ram says that larger carriers are beginning to seek out more Windows Phone models to carry. The executive sees the cross-device universal compatibility of Windows 10 as the feature that will start a new wave of demand for devices powered by Microsoft’s open source OS. “Once Windows 10 is available, it could be a game changer because of the way the apps and services are going to work across all the universal devices,” Ram said.
