WalkCar takes the handles off of personal transportation

24 sec read

The Segway revolutionized the concept of personal transportation. While it never really took off as expected, it paved the way for other companies to come in and build a better mousetrap. One such company that is trying to make a splash is Japanese-based Cocoa Motors. Their “WalkCar” is designed to help a person travel with a car that can fit in a laptop bag.

The WalkCar has a top speed of just over six miles per hour and can travel over seven miles on a single charge. It’s not just for little people, either; maximum weight that it can take is over 250 lbs. At $800, it’s a lot cheaper than most other vehicles.
