We often see manufacturers boast how they have been able to make the “world’s lightest” smartphone and now Indian manufacturer XOLO is claiming that crown. XOLO was due to launch a new Windows Phone handset. It has come out with the Win Q900s, its first ever Windows Phone device. It weighs in at just 100g, so XOLO is quick to point out that this is “clearly the lightest smartphone” available in the market at this point in time. To be fair that claim isn’t false. For example the iPhone 5s comes in at 112g, even the Galaxy S4 mini is a tad bit heavier at 107g. But then again most customers don’t bother themselves with such minute details, its the specifications and performance that they’re more concerned about.
