The last few years haven’t been kind to Taiwanese technology companies, and though there are a few exceptions, HTC isn’t one of them. The company has been struggling for a while now, to the point where many industry analysts believe its days may be numbered, but CEO and chairwoman Cher Wang claims that isn’t the case. Although she’s admitted that her company has seen better days, she announced earlier this week that HTC has big plans for next year, not only with improving its smartphones, but entering the the virtual reality market with the HTC Vive, and possibly other new markets that we’re not aware of. Wang claims that HTC isn’t going to die off anytime soon, but only time will tell if that’s the case.
