There are three things I like in the motoring world: power, efficiency, and shooting brakes (two-door wagons). Delightfully, Audi has just combined all three into one spine-tingling concept car here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. All me to I present: the Audi allroad shooting brake. Audi kicks off its write-up of the allroad shooting brake bragging that it hinted at this concept car back at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

We’re just days away from the action-packed new car festival that will be the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, and the dams are breaking. While we already know most of what to expect from the Ford Mustang and only very little of the Corvette Z06, Audi’s show portfolio has been a mere sketch–until now. Officially previewed ahead of its real-world debut, these images of the Allroad Shooting Brake concept give us our first look at the brand’s new high-tech cockpit in a full installation. Previewed at CES, the new instrument-panel-only display and fresh design theme gave us a tantalizing hint of what to expect for the 2015 Audi TT. Now, it’s been packaged into something that blends the TT with dashes of the Q1.
