Considering how the company spent $2 billion to acquire Oculus VR last year, it’s clear that Facebook is really interested in the virtual reality market. The company isn’t leaving the entirety of its virtual reality ambitions in the hands of Oculus VR, however, and is apparently working on its own stand-alone video app that will specialize in virtual reality videos. The app will supposedly work on a variety of platforms, but it’s still in the early stages of development, so nobody can realy say when it’ll actually be released.
