Do you find that your valuables often grow legs and go for a walk? If so, there’s a new solution that may be able to help. Meet Pixie — a so-called “location of things” technology platform that can help you keep track of your possessions and find items that go missing. The system relies on small smart tags called Pixie Points, which you can place on things that are prone to magically disappear — your keys, wallet, the TV remote, a toddler’s favorite toy, or just about anything else. These Pixie Points contain “signaling technology” that allow the tags to communicate with each other and create a “personal digital map” of all your tagged items, which is then synced to the Pixie mobile app.
