According to a patent filed by Samsung last week, the SOuth Korean company may soon be releasing a more advanced, flexible version of its Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Rumors suggest that this new smartwatch could be Samsung’s Galaxy Band. The “Band” device could feature sensors that are capable of monitoring pressure, humidity, motion, temperature, heart rate, and much more.

A more advanced and modified Galaxy Gear smart watch may be on its way with an even sleeker, flexible display. We know this because a patent was filed for the same last week. Rumors also suggest that this could be the Galaxy Band. Electronista has reported on this probable “Band”, a device that could have fitness and body metric monitoring and would also feature sensors that are capable of monitoring pressure, humidity, motion, temperature, heart rate and the like.
