We’ve been hearing a lot about Samsung’s next smartwatch over the past few months, and the company even gave us our first look at the Gear S2 at its Unpacked event where it announced the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Now one of the company’s executives has released a new image of the round smartwatch on their Instagram account, and I must say, it looks really, really nice.

For almost as far back as we can remember, Samsung has been rumored to be working on a new round smartwatch. Dubbed the Samsung Gear S2, we got our first official look at the new smartwatch during Samsung’s Unpacked event where they unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. More of a teaser, Samsung didn’t divulge any details, instead choosing to keep their card close to their chest for a separate event during IFA 2015 on September 3rd. From what we could see of the watch in a few promotional materials we’ll admit, we’re kind of digging the sleek, modern look Samsung is going for with the Gear S2. Still, we were hoping to see some real world shots of the watch (things always look great on models). Lucky for us, a Samsung exec is doing just that. Posted to his Instagram page this morning, designer Dennis Miloseski is showing us what the watch actually looks like the wrist. His wrist to be exact. Now we have a feeling the Gear S2 will come equipped with a rotating bezel but it appears there could be a few other physical buttons on the watch as well. It’s tough to make out, but we think there could be 2 along the right side.
