Although hearing aids have been around for quite some time, no piece of technology is ever so old that there isn’t a way to improve it. At CES, Siemens unveiled one of the world’s first smart hearing aids that the company claims will be able to adapt to its environment automatically and will be fully customization from an accompanying iOS or Android app.

Hearing aids aren’t exactly a new piece of technology and have been around for quite a while now. However over the years thanks to the breakthroughs in technology, companies have been able to create more sophisticated and more advanced hearing aids. Well over at CES 2015, Siemens has taken the wraps off their latest hearing aid. Dubbed smart hearing aids, Siemens is boasting that their creation is able to deliver better sound than normal, especially at places which might be noisy such as restaurants or at parties. Siemens also claims that these hearing aids are “smart” because they have the ability to automatically adapt to their environment. This means that users will not have to adjust their hearing aids manually as they should be able to attune to the environment, whether it be at a quiet and peaceful setting, or a loud and noisy one like a concert.
