Recently there has been talks about the upcoming Moto X+1 from Motorola. The handset has yet to be officially announced, but many are talking about it lately. Previously we had reported that an alleged image had surfaced that was supposedly the Moto X+1, along with some of its specs. Turns out that it was bogus, but the same source has once again come forward with a new video claiming to be that of the boot animation of the Moto X+1. According to the folks at TK Tech News, they claim that this boot animation is the real deal. Now it’s hard to tell if it is the real deal simply because the boot animation looks a lot like Motorola’s other devices, so for all we know, it could be a Moto X or a Moto G posing as a Moto X+1. However some have pointed out that in the video, it shows wordings on the device that reads, “Motorola Confidential Property”, which could hint at its authenticity.

We know the next Motorola flagship is coming late this summer, and references on its own website tell us that it will likely bear the name “Moto X+1″ — so, now it’s time for the leaks to start flowing. Today, we have video footage of the Moto X+1 booting up, showing off the playful Motorola boot animation. The boot animation itself shows us tangled yarn, a tomato, pancakes, and more fun Google-esque things, despite the fact that Motorola is soon to be owned by Chinese OEM Lenovo. There are many other circular characters showing up under the Motorola logo, and this boot animation is quite similar to (read: the exact same as) what we’ve seen from its most recent products such as the Moto X, Moto G, and Moto E. The real story is this. The phone itself is covered by watermarks for the most part — you can see a colored back on the device (long live Moto Maker!), and “MOTOROLA CONFIDENTIAL PROPERTY” is displayed at the bottom, letting us all know that this is most likely the real deal. Of course, as with all leaks of this nature, nothing has yet been confirmed and it’s possible that this may indeed be a false alarm. The source, TK Tech News, promises more is on the way. This is the first video out of five X+1 leaks, and we’ll be sharing any additional ones with you as they cross our desks.
