Remember the YotaPhone, that smartphone that has a standard front-facing display and a second, e-paper display on the back? Well, the successor to that quirky Android-powered smartphone, the YotaPhone 2, could be making its way the United States later this year if its able to raise enough money through its crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. Should it come to America, the YotaPhone 2 will cost you about $600 unlocked and off-contract.

We reported earlier this week that the YotaPhone 2 could arrive in the U.S. this summer. It was expected that the company behind this device would launch a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo through which it would allow interested customers to purchase the device. YotaPhone has gone through with the confirmation and has revealed that a campaign on Indiegogo will be launched in order to release the YotaPhone 2 in the United States. YotaPhone makes unique Android powered smartphones. Its devices stand out because they have two displays. The YotaPhone 2 has an e-paper display on the back apart from the conventional display up front. Users can project any app that they want on the e-paper display. Despite the confirmation YotaPhone hasn’t revealed details about the campaign just yet. It is expected that the company will sell YotaPhone 2 for around $600, unlocked and off-contract, with the device being compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile.
