In an effort to help those who have suffered from Typhoon Haiyan, Sprint has decided to waive all fees for calls and messages to the Philippines from the United States. The calls and texts are waived as of November 8th and will continue all the way to December 7th.
Our hearts go out to those who are affected, directly and indirectly, by the super typhoon Haiyan that had ravaged the Philippines. It is nice to know that companies and organizations have already mobilized themselves to help victims of the typhoon, and in a practical manner, the folks over at Sprint, too, have something to offer. In fact, Sprint has announced that they have waived all calling and text messaging fees made by its US customers to the Philippines.
