Canonical is dropping Ubuntu touch support for a wave of Nexus phones and tablets, including the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10. Nexus 5 support is also on hold for the time being. Engineers confirmed the unfortunate news in a phone mail list, stating that the company was focusing all efforts on the newer Nexus devices.

Also, support for the Nexus 5 is on hold. Of course, the question everyone has is why.ย Alexander Sackย explains on the Ubuntu-phone team mailing list.
