Google adds lights to a Merry Christmas search

If you are looking to light up your day, then hop on over to Google and enter “Merry Christmas” (without the quotations) into its search bar and suddenly lights at the top of search will appear.

This will only happen if you type Merry Christmas, as I attempted to see what would happen if I searched “Happy Holidays” and I got nothing. Christmas is just around the corner and as it approaches our spirits are up from all the decorations that we are currently surrounded by, so why not add a little more and show your friends your magic by sharing in the Christmas fun, Google is.
