Microsoft will have a big presence this weekend at the 13th annual Bonnaroo music festival that’s being held in Manchester, Tennessee, which gets underway today and ends on Sunday, June 15th. The company will offer activities for both its attendees as well as those who want to watch the event from the comfort of their living room. People who own an Xbox One or Xbox 360 console will be able to download the Bonnaroo app, which will allow them to pick which performances they wish to watch live from the festival, starting at 4:30 pm Eastern time on Friday. There will also be a way to view what’s going on backstage with the apps, along with access to videos showing previous Bonnaroo performances.

Tennessee’s Bonnaroo is always one of the year’s very best music festivals and this year promises to be no different with a killer lineup that includes Elton John, Kanye West, Vampire Weekend, Lionel Richie, Jack White and many more. However, you won’t have to travel down to bluegrass country to watch all of the best shows this year because Microsoft is letting you stream the show right over your Xbox 360 or Xbox One if you’re an Xbox Live member. Streaming for the event will start at 4:30 ET on Friday and will run through the weekend until the festival ends on Sunday, June 15th. You’ll have to download the Bonnaroo app for free onto your Xbox to catch the stream and you can use the Skype app on Xbox to “further enhance the Bonnaroo experience by offering unique and exclusive content that brings fans closer than ever to their favorite artists,” Microsoft says. For a full list of which artists are performing when, be sure to check out the full schedule over at Bonnaroo’s official website.
