MSI shows off beefy gaming laptop with “3k” resolution

MSI is showing off a thin and light laptop with an Intel Haswell processor, next-gen NVIDIA graphics, and a 15.6 pixel display with support for resolutions up to 2880 x 1620 pixels. That’s not a resolution you see often, and according to Engadget, it’s something MSI is calling “3K.” But it should help show off just what NVIDIA’s new laptop graphics chips can do — cranking out high quality 3D graphics to that many pixels can’t be easy.
