We’re not saying all this is for real but Mac blogs are burning up the story of an Australian ad which seemingly hints at more expensive (ie. new model) MacBook Pros, MacBook Airs and Mac Pros.
These ads show new and higher starting prices across these three product families: MacBook Pros are AUD$300 more expensive than the current generation, for example.
Clicking on the ads, which appear on PC Authority, still leads to the current range of Macs at the current specs and prices.
The last few months have witnessed a rising clamor of expectation Apple intends upgrading these three products, but like every claim and counter-claim from inside the Cult of Mac, you should take them only with a grain of salt. This could be an error by a semi-literate graphics department, after all. We’re also kind of curious if a range of new MacBook Pros will cannibalize iPad sales.
