The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active seems all but confirmed as another leak hints at the as of yet unannounced device. This time, the leak pertains to the inclusion of 277 apps with the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, as @evleaks, notorious insider and information giver, has mentioned the new active APKs that may be found on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active once it releases, reports Phone Arena.
Evleaks has tweeted what he says is 277 active APKs that will be included on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. This variant of the Galaxy S5 is supposed to be rougher and tougher than the regular version of the phone. Last year the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active was the only variant of the device that was water proof and dust proof, but this year the regular version of the phone has IP67 certification. That means that the Samsung Galaxy S5 can be submerged in 1 meter of water (3.2 feet) for up to 30 minutes, and live. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active might be certified to the next level, IP68. This is the same certification received by the Sony Xperia Z2, and allows users to submerge their handsets to 1.5 meters (5 feet) for one hour, and work like new.
