#Video: Samsung’s inadvertent metaphor about class differences

Surely they didn’t mean for it to come across the way it did. In essence, a rich man with tech gadgets stirs up a financially challenged neighborhood, forcing children to run from the carnage of a construction job that nobody seems to be aware is about to happen. They wanted to highlight the features of the device. They wanted to show how their technology can help make children smile.

Unfortunately, even the ending is too weird to get the point across. What it does say is that the rich have gadgets and mess with the lives of the poor.

As one YouTube commenter put’s it: “After watching this commercial, I don’t know whether to buy the note 3 or adopt a kid from another country. I’m confused.”
