Samsung has long decided on a course that will cater to just about everyone when it comes to their collection of smartphones, ranging from entry level models to the mid-range as well as the high end side of things, such as the Samsung Galaxy S5. Well, in the latest leak concerning upcoming Samsung handsets, the Samsung SM-G110 has been spotted, and it surprisingly features Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice, which is normally launched with the higher end models.
So far, Android 4.4 KitKat has been featured from day one mainly on high-end smartphones. A few midrangers (such as LG’s L III series devices) have been lucky enough to launch with the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, but it still hasn’t made it to the truly low-end offerings. These have traditionally been left to run versions of the OS that are years old, but that trend may change soon. And the first extremely low-end handset to launch with KitKat in tow may be the next Galaxy Pocket branded device from Samsung. Up until now, we’ve had three models that all wore the Pocket brand – the original from 2012, and the Pocket Neo and Pocket Plus from last year.
